Baby Ido loves The Cure and Pink Floyd

Updates

You haven't heard from me for more than a month. So here are some updates. To start with the fun, today I went with my Mom and Dad to a workshop in Diada, in Tel-Aviv. Diada is a place where they give workshops for parents, how to do this and how to do that when it comes to their baby. Today it was a workshop about massage. What a big fun that was! My Mommy and Daddy both gave a great massage with a very special baby oil. I enjoyed very much! Can't wait till next week for the second meeting (there'll be four in total).

Now some updates about my weight and height. I'm really growing! I was measured on June 14, 2007, and weighted then 4,540 grams and was 55.5 centimeters high. Another three weeks later, last week on Monday, July 9, Mom again took me to the bureau and then it appeared that I had grown another kilogram, 5,460 grams total. I really eat good, I must say. No complaints. That really explains everything. My height is also interesting. Last Monday it was 58.2 centimeters. I told you, I am going to very tall. Maccabi Tel-Aviv, I'm on my way to join the basketball team!

I'm growing!

Yesterday together with my Mom and Dad I visited the children care bureau in our neighbourhood for the second time. We attended a workshop on how to take care of me and other babies. Again my weight was measured. I passed the 4 kilograms! Now I weight 4,100 grams. Everyone says that I am going to be a big guy, maybe even a basketball player.

Ido's first posting

Hi! My name is Ido. I was born on May 4, 2007, 2:25 AM local time, in Lis Maternity Hospital of the Sourasky Medical Center, better known as Ichilov, in Tel-Aviv, Israel. My weight at birth was 3,260 grams.

My "brit mila" (circumcision) was held in a small circle of family and friends in the appartment of my grandparents in Ramat Gan on Friday, May 11, on day eight after my birth, according to the Jewish tradition.

In the meantime, after the "brit mila", two weeks have passed, and yesterday for the first time , together with my parents I visited the child care bureau in our neighbourhood. Here are some updates. My weight is now 3,900 grams and my height is 52 centimeter.
